Our private Aid group has just got back from delivering 5 four-wheel drive pick-ups from the UK to front line Units , making our 35th vehicle donation since the start of the invasion .

It is always a worry you will see one of them destroyed in footage released like in this case ,but it is a fact of war ,they have done pretty well lasting this long. We were in Bakhmut doing casualty evacuations & some units were only getting just over a month out of their vehicles on The Road of Life.

Once again it is pathetic that the guys are being sent into combat in glorified soccer mum vehicles, while the West sits on 1000’s of Humvee’s & MRAP’s that are sitting in storage for years .

Ukraine war: Welsh miners in country to repay 1984 help

‘When Ukrainian miner Vasyl Yavorsky donated his own wages to striking Welsh miners in 1984, he never thought that help would one day be returned.

However, a group of Welsh miners have now loaded up on medicine and supplies and driven from south Wales to Kyiv to repay the old favour.

The convoy is supplying much needed aid to miners fighting on the front line, two years after Russian forces invaded.’
