      They should give it a few more tries immediately, you know.. Just to make sure

      Airfields or near ammunition dumps might be a good place to do the next attempts

      It is called **solidarity**. The ICBM committed a fiery suicide in support of the three ammo dumps that recently met fiery ends.

      “Me too, I can make a big KABOOM and a large crater.” And it did it.

      More seriously… over the last twenty years the russian civilian rocket industry had rotten, because the old engineers veteran of USSR are not remplaced adequately. Also endemic corruption and nepotism. Now the rot is extending to the missile industry.

      Phobos Grunt (2011). Proton flying upside down (2013). Soyuz aborts (2018). New ISS module doing acrobatics with the ISS (2021). Luna 25 pathetic failure. And on, and on.
