I think we’d all rather they actually put our money to meaningful work fixing all the problems their indifference has caused.

Can’t wait for an extra €12 a month. Maybe I’ll take up smoking again

Wahey. I’ll be 2.23 euro better off PER WEEK from January. Thank you, Minister.

1% reduction in a tax that was meant to be temporary? I cannot wait to vote for literally anyone else.

Oh look another teeny handout from the government to try and curry public favour.

Slight leap card fare reduction, 1% decrease in USC while €2.5 billion goes into the children’s hospital and €335k for a crappy bike shed. Still no metro btw.

This will cost €500 million in tax revenue. Something to bear in mind.

I would rather that they focus on delivering us better services, create better processes, use the money to improve things and actually write better laws. I am not finding it easy at the moment but I am ok, but I want to leave the country in a better state for the next generation. The tiny bit extra per month will get eaten pretty quick if everyone else has it.

It all feels like the early 00’s again and that ended very badly.
