Way too lenient, given the speed involved?
Surely making that conscious decision to drive at such speed should be instant ban, irrespective if you have your own business or not. That surely should have been even more of an incentive to keep a clean licence.
How? I cant even go the speed limit with people in front of me slowing down to look at their phones or stopping to go around corners
Such a ridiculous comparison by the judge.
Judge Keane said: “That’s faster than a jumbo jet. It’s absolutely outrageous to be driving faster than an aeroplane.”
The speed was 197, a jumbo needs roughly 280 to take off
Jumbo jet 920km/h .. get your facts right judge
Stupid comparison but should have been harsher a sentence
That’s a very lenient sentence and a very gentle fine!
