Hmm, don’t know how much I agree with this video’s assertions. First and foremost using ‘zangezur corridor’ as the nomenclature for it is neither appropriate nor accurate. Following that up with the assertion that opening the route under pressure seems to be working without providing any evidence of this taking place is incorrect as well. Like seriously, I’d dearly appreciate them sharing where this can be seen, since as it stands we haven’t had any discussion on this route for a few weeks now.

Also it’s funny how Iran resisting against the route is framed as just ‘upsetting’ Armenia, and not the fact that it risks further eroding Armenian sovereignty especially given the latest flare-ups at the border due to the Aziks.

Don’t know what’s up with this video, normally tldr europe does a better job of depicting local developments, even if it’s done with a euro perspective.

WHAT??? Turkey didn’t steal Armenia????? What is this guy on? Armenia left Russia after Russia failed to do its treaty obligations. I guess you can make the argument that Turkey stole Armenia in that by helping Azerbaijan while Russia stood by, Armenia was convinced to leave the Russian sphere but that’s a very ass backwards way of justification of how Turkey ‘stole’ Armenia from Russia.

    3. Turkey stole AZ from Russia? Yes.

Turkey stole GEO from Russia? Partly. Georgia prefer more EU than Turkey.

Turkey stole ARM from Russia? Nope. Turkey has no economic, diplomatic or political influence on Armenia. The influence of Iran, India and the EU is growing in Armenia. Turkey has no opportunity to influence this without establishing economic relations and in conditions of hostility between the countries.

    4. I shared this to highlight how little some people understand about what is really happening.

Turkey has no influence on Armenia, they are literally one of Azerbaijan’s main allies along Israel. On the other hand, Iran’s influence is growing more. Also Georgia is getting more influenced by the EU.
