Anna Politkovskaya was killed on October 7, 2006, in the block of her house. She worked for a new newspaper as a journalist. She actively wrote about the war in Chechnya and traveled there. She negotiated with the terrorists who seized Nord-Ost. She was poisoned in 2004 when she flew to Beslan with the aim of starting negotiations. In her last interview (October 5, 2006), she said that Kadyrov Jr. is “a boy who stands in the corner.”
