Ireland really needs to get its act together when it comes to defense, it’s getting embarrassing.
NATO is almost certainly a non-starter, as its so widely unpopular an idea.
Modeling ourselves on neutral Switzerland, and integrating into EU defense operations would be the route that would get the most support.
And I’m guessing Ireland themselves don’t up their own intelligence game.
