I really really hope Ukraine takes back the 4 territories ruzzia invaded, but I painfully can’t think how they would manage to do it without mobilizing enough troops and clearing these horrific land mines to make the counter offensive faster, will this war end with it being frozen? To give Ukrainian defenders enough time to re arm heavily and be prepared for another ruzzian invasion in 10 years? We in the west are to blame for not giving Ukraine enough during start of the invasion, we gave ruzzians enough time to fortify and mine these occupied territories into hell…. It’s just horrific how one imperialist tyrant poopstain started all this pure hell….

I mean…you can accuse Zelensky of a lot of things, but you can’t accuse him of being a pessimist.

Whether or not ukrainians get their old lands back joining an alliance is essential for the country’s long-term survival. (At the very least if nato membership drags on some nato or un military presence in Ukraine although not ideal will be necessary).

It was supposed to end after the brilliant counteroffensive in 2023 when Crimea was liberated

Will there be a truce for Christmas where soldiers from both sides start to hug each other and dance around the fire like in the WWI?

That’s how one prepares their citizens to accept a peace treaty prepared by other parties.

This war was lost years ago, US just paying Ukrainians to die to ruin russian economy/state. Same as they always did. Sit on the other side of the pond and finance the wars that destroy the economies of ur enemies/rivals. I’m not a US hater I would rather have them be the police of the world over Russia or China but at this point I can’t see what they are trying to accomplish other then this.
