      Woot! Woot! She’s also the only candidate that can brutally attack Georgescu because she doesn’t have a communist past and Russian links like Ciolacu, Ciuca, Geoana. She’s also a great communicator very eloquent and coherent.

      This is actually a huge win for USR to beat PSD’s candidate who has always been in the top 2 candidates for president. Romanian parties are split into right wing (liberals), left wing (social-democrats) and sovereign (nationalist) and it’s the first time the left doesn’t have a candidate in the final 2

      So there’s a good chance that Ciolacu and Lasconi voters, plus Simion voters who aren’t cool with outright Nazi worship, all rally together in the second round?
