I don’t think that PPP makes much sense. If you live on the countryside, you spend less on housing, and then you have more money left.
The quality of services might be worse outside big cities, but that’s not what PPP is about. AÂ Lada is considered to be equivalent to a Renault, despite the disparity in safety standards.

How is it possible that the Czech Republic and Lithuania have higher purchasing power than Poland? I thought we were richer than them.
Lol this is complete bollocks. There’s absolutely no way UK has a higher purchasing power compared to Netherlands or Norway. Median household wage is half of NL alone. Dodgy graphÂ
GfK Purchasing Power data is actually just nominal wages. It’s not what’s thought of as purchasing power usually, this is just for business use. How much nominal purchasing power in euros people living in a specific region have.
How?!? is the UK higher than us, isn’t the UK like the only g20 country that hasn’t recovered from the pandemic? The UK is the poorest western european country and is arguably third world outside of London.
Also their GDP PPP per capita is lower than Francw and on par with Italy but here they’re higher than us and norway. I don’t believe this report at all
