Ciao, sono uno studente internazionale in Germania, originario di un paese extra-UE. Studiavo in Ungheria, poi ho deciso di trasferirmi in Germania. Non ho mai stipulato un’assicurazione in Ungheria perché sapevo che mi sarei trasferito da lì. Non sono d’accordo con la decisione di TK. Quindi voglio mandare una mail. Quali informazioni dovrei includere in quella mail?

Where you come from, what your insurance status is, why you think they should give you an insurance…
In recommend to call them. TK has a great costumer support and they can explain it. Maybe your immatriculation certificate is missing?
that’s weird. The last thing an insurance company does is not want to insure someone just because they like it. Maybe you’re not qualified somehow. Go to their local office and find out
you are not telling the full story!
my guess is that you are still affiliated with the Hungarian university or live there and came to Germany as a guest student. That’s what they mean by “only come to Germany to study”
I think you can get private German insurance in this situation
They probably think you have Hungarian insurance and students with EU Insurance use EHIC cards from their country, they don’t get german insurance.
I faced the same situation. Also got the same mail and after lots of discussion with TK decided to get a private health insurance. If you can find a werkstudent job that pays more than 538€ then TK can insure you.
