Is he trying to say his Micky is so small that you should laugh at it?

    2. So he’s saying it was one message, that was a pornograpic meme and wasn’t of him and it was sent to the wrong person by mistake.

Not sure that’s going to get you thrown out of the party so this sounds like spin bullshit

      >“The text was generic and viral at the time and was sent in error by me to a person for which I apologised for,” he said.

If this is true then it’s a big step down from someone sending unsolicited dick pics of themselves to another person.

If it’s one of those black guy with the massive dick type things then it’s inappropriate in a work setting but on the lower end of seriousness.

Banter is banter when both of you agree it is banter. Otherwise its sexual harassment.

Having ‘the craic’ or banter is used to cover and minimise for far too much appalling behaviour in Irish society.

Article doesn’t contain the message he sent, such a tease.

When _Fine Gael_ kick you out of their party for disgraceful behaviour you know it’s pretty bad.

Seriously, I don’t know what’s worse, sending that message or trying to excuse it as “banter”.

These people shouldn’t be given phones 🤦🏼‍♀️

So we can all sexually harass someone and say it is banter?

      Fine Gael logic.

Their smear campaign against SF over this exact thing is low-key hilarious now.

Workplace banter. I hope this isn’t considered normal in Leinster House.

Ah yes, lessons will be learned …. Jesus wept

I will never understand why they don’t just say:

“I misred the tone of our interactions and with the height of respect and professional regard to X Staffer, I fully apologise. ”

And then just stop fucking talking.

The problem with framing it as “banter” is that it reads as a smarmy effort to make it the other person’s fault for being uptight rather than you being an arsehole.

Edit – though I suppose it they’d be inclined to do that they probably wouldn’t have sent the stuff in the first place.

And THIS Is why I say consent is not just about not raping someone.

Surely the easiest way to clear all this up and move on is to publish exactly what was sent. If it was harmless banter then this should not even be an issue

Sure Cocaine McGregor rapping a woman in a hotel is an accommodation issue.
