I heard he was playing all the Beatles
It will be interesting to see if he can improve on his Scouse accent in Saltburn (by far my biggest complaint of that film but it’s still not great) but I can see what they’re going for with this choice, even if I hate the excessive amount of music biopics in the last few years.

Like Harrison and McCartney had Irish grandparents, they qualified for citizenship. Lennon’s connection was great-grandparents.
