    3. The number of Russian army attacks on the frontlines has increased. Tactical air force activity has decreased. If this situation continues for a few more weeks, it can be inferred that in addition to the weather, Ukrainian attacks in Russia’s rear are having an impact.

      – Reports from the Kursk direction mention fierce battles, but the Russian army did not achieve any major advances.

      – On the Kharkiv front, Russian army units have carried out several attack attempts in the area of Vovchansk. It is not a very intense offensive, and the situation remains the same.

      – Russian army attacks were active towards Kupyansk and Lyman. There were reports yesterday of minor Russian unit advances at one point. Russian unit activity was low on the Siversky direction. Yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed the replacement of the commander of the Southern Military District, which was reported by social media sources at the end of last week.

      – In the vicinity of Bakhmut, the number of Russian army attacks significantly increased yesterday, but this did not bring them success. Fighting continues in the gray area around the city of Toretsk.

      – The main direction of the Russian army attack is in South Donbas. Numerous attacks on the Pokrovsk direction after losses did not yield results. South of Donetsk, towards the southwest, the intensity of attacks has slightly increased, and the pressure on Ukrainian defenders is very serious. Russian units have been able to marginally improve their positions, but there were no major advances.
The only serious battles on the southern front were for the islands of the Dnipro River.
