      All things considered, people were lucky there were those two small explosions first. There were so many onlookers so close, things could have been so much worse if the first explosions didn’t scare them away.

      Now I’m kind of wondering, in Beirut and Tianjin, there was also a small initial explosion, maybe that’s something that always happens in explosive fires?

    2. I still remember the black smoke clouds. I was living 27 km from enschede at the time.

      The damage was insane. And to this day: a lot of people believe the official reports of this site being a Firework storage to be a cover up.

      To me thats sounds a bit silly. Firework is risky. A lot of Firework in a neighborhood is extreme risk, imho.

      There are some buildings where a sea freight container went straight throug the walls.

      I remember watching a TV show on this a while back, makes me always wonder whats in industrial units bounding housing areas now
