This article would have been ground breaking in 2021…. but now it’s ideas are not fresh, a little outdated.

Unfortunately, Ukraine is facing massive troop shortages, foreign aid is slowing down. At the same time, Russia advances on all fronts. If the balance of power rest in Ukraine THEN it has already tipped into Russia’s favor. We have to ask what is the NEXT logical step…

Again too late. It’s not the 1990’s anymore where US can just push everyone around. It’s not gonna be possible to impose our worldview on Russia, China, India, etc. Why would they listen? Threat of war?
Here is novel idea: try to learn how to get ALONG with Russia and China… or we keep going towards WW3 which they seem willing to fight.
Too late! We had years to do something. We had governments that were all willing to work together. But we all procrastinated, and now Russia, North Korea, China, and Iran will win the war. Ukraine is out of troops, and the Russians have been able to overcome a lot of their incompetence.
Joe Biden and Jake Sullivan are soley to blame for the bad position Ukraine is in now. Biden will die soon and won’t have to live with the consequences, but Jake Sullivan will have to watch Ukraine lose. He will have to watch as his decisions destroy the NPT, and the western led order.
Who is going to want to ally with democratic nations after seeing what happened? It is the autocrats that seem stronger.
