There won’t be a cancellation cause PSD would get stomped.

They are just gonna steal 2000 votes at the recount(they need to get 1 vote extra in like 10% of the voting stations) and put Ciolacu in the presidential round 2.

Then they probably gonna get hammered in the parliamentary elections that will take place in 2 days as they pissed off the entire country. Maybe then they decide to invalidate those too, at this point who knows.

Then Ciolacu is gonna lose to Georgescu cause everyone will hate PSD after they stole the electioms at which point they will either steal it again, remove him from power through parliment or they are just gonna reveal that he was a Securitate puppet all along and Georgescu is just gonna start dickriding PSD like our current fig tree of president does(though to be fair he barely does anything in the place, henche the “fig tree” nickname, but the few he does do usually benefit PSD).

Anyway, PSD is basically attempting a coup. Muie PSD/FSN. Muie Securitate.

Edit: So Ciolacu just announced that he will no longer be participating in the electoral race…..so either he is lying or PSD chickened out of the coup due to the very angry reaction from the people? Or maybe PSD is just being incompetent(their leader, Ciolacu, couldn’t finish school properly and can’t speak Romanian correctly, for reference) and they have no idea what they are doing.

Like TF is even gonna happen if elections are redone?? Ciuca is out and he resigned from PNL. Ciolacu publicly said he is out, though he might be lying. Who TF will be left for a election round 1.1?? The candidates CAN NOT be changed so Ciolacu and Ciuca are still gonna be on the ballot even though they conceded just like Orban was even though he left the race shortly before.

Shit is scary as fuck in Romania right now.

      ***TLDR***

The recount and possible annulment of Romania’s first-round presidential elections intensify the ongoing political and institutional crises. Anti-establishment parties are gaining support, while traditional institutions are experiencing a decline in public trust. This unresolved situation threatens the current polling process and the larger democratic framework, which could lead to significant instability in the region.

Coup d’etat in Romania – ongoing: organized and financed by Russia – G. wins with russian money but Lasconi beats Ciolacu; a russian appointed Court orders a recount to put Ciolacu in the second round were he would lose against Georgescu. Similar to Dec 1989. Stop the recount – to the streets!

    4. In some sense, what is happening in romania is just what rogue actors intended to do in any democracy and when intelligence agencies failed or even helped those rogue actors achieve their objectives, then democracy is gone or in the process of being buried.

I will not ignore the religious aspects of this election and how religion is shaping and promotes anti European union discourse.
