Images 1 & 2 show the damage from last night. Image 3 shows a temporary fix that was implemented to keep water flowing.

An explosion on Friday evening damaged a canal in northern Kosovo supplying water to two coal-fired power plants that generate nearly all of the country’s electricity as well as drinking water for some 700k citizens.

Faruk Mujka, the head of water company Ibar-Lepenci, told local news portal Kallxo that an explosive device was thrown into the canal and damaged the wall of a bridge. The wall is made of reinforced concrete as shown in the image and requires a considerable explosion to cause that much damage.

Earlier on Friday, Kosovo police announced increased security measures after two recent attacks where hand grenades were hurled at a police station and municipality building in northern Kosovo where ethnic Serbians live. It was not clear if the incidents were linked. It is important to note that these municipalities in the North of Kosovo now have Albanian mayors since the Serbian public boycotted elections at Belgrade’s request.

The PM of Kosovo has accused Serbian-backed terrorist groups of committing the attack. Many of the Serbian terrorists from the Banjska Attack in Kosovo last year remain at large, and the leader of the group has fled to Belgrade.

Well well well, Serbs are back again, playing the victim role, while those Serbs left in Kosovo pay no taxes, nothing for electricity and gas.

Probably Serbian government using this as an excuse to put this news in media instead of the death of 15 people in Novi Sad on a train station that was renovated two times.

Government is the source of the death of the people and they are always making shit on Kosovo to use it as a propaganda and hide people protests.
