It is outrageous. It’s an accident waiting to happen.
The man who killed their son was suffering from schizophrenia and psychosis. Of course he should be able to walk around freely if he has been treated appropriately and is being monitored accordingly. Their frustration with the hse is more appropriate but this was always going to be a challenging battle to win.
What a nightmare for this family!!!
Make Asylums Great Again.
This happened to a relative, in that a psychiatric patient broke into their house after being released from HSE care.
Gardaí partially dealt with it but didn’t do anything about the HSE. They weren’t held accountable.
We’ve gone too far in the wrong direction.
