      What baffles me the most about any far-right movements in Europe (outside of Germany) that actively celebrate Nazi-Germany: These people would’ve been at best the lap dogs of the actual Nazis as long as they are useful to the Nazis. Right after that it’s off to the nearest concentration camp for you.

      I’m not in favor of it, but the EU itself is largely responsible for what is currently happening in Romania, this violent nationalism and anti-EU movement. The people of Romania have been experiencing unjust racism and exclusion for decades due to a minority in Romania that we all know very well and the anti-ciganism is now on levels that it wasnt since over 80 years in Romania. Many European companies have exploited the country and this is the result. The EU has turned a blind eye for years. And its not only Romania…look at Hungary, Slovakia and next year probably Czechia. More will follow.

      I think we have been teaching the wrong history lessons at high schools for the last 50 years in all democratic countries. The young tend to become ignorant and repeat the terrible pasts to come to where de are today…

      They are few and non important. This rally is happening every year at that location. Theyre numbers are going down every year.

      There is a lot of infighting between extreme right organisations in Romania. As a result they are not gaining any traction at the political level. They are just a last bad breath of history.

      This year is special and you find out about those poor stupid guys lost in the past becase we have a presidential candidate that on the surface has the same rethorics as them.

      But the ugly truth is that candidate is having an abundant of popular support because the main stream politicians got too arrogant and forgot about the people.

      And with some help from our “friends” from Moscow this guy managed to speak lies to a lot of disgrunted and forgoten people.

      Him at the pole position in presidential race is just a simptom of deep corruption of main politicians and people just having enough of the same people on top lying to them.

      Yeah, this is a yearly event and this time there were appearently only 70 of so people. It is illegal to promote fascism in Romania, and investigations were opened. Hopefully, with legionarism getting more mainstream attention we will see something done about this. Not only should these people be in jail, but hopefully authorities will make it a priority to crack down on such activities going forward.
