A third? As in 33% of its budget? On a 3 day special military operation? I wonder how well their non-military will feel with this decision…

I dislike “x% of budget” headlines.

When discussing military spending, % of GDP is the usual metric and many will confuse the two, but they are not at all the same.

So when you hear 33% of budget that’s not equal to 33% of GDP, not even close.

How much did they spend per year, each year, over the last 30 years?

ruzzia is not spending a third of its budget on ‘defence’, it spends it on ‘agression’.

It’s not “defense” spending!
