    1. Thought he might do well from the last transfers based on geography … he did not.

    2. Had it coming. The Soc Dems that got elected will be loving this.

Time to shine that noggin and quickly join the party that’s getting the most transfers. Oh.

This is beautifully poetic. He was one of the founders of the Social Democrats and left them for Fianna Fáil (bearing in mind he was constantly writing articles tearing into FF prior to this – there’s a brilliant video of Vincent Browne calling him out on his hypocrisy). Now years later, he loses his seat in the same election his former party is having an absolute stormer in. You couldn’t write it

Delighted for him. Vincent Browne will be happy to hear it.

Bye bye. I’d say don’t let the door hit you on the arse on the way out but there is an elderly stroke victim left to rot on a trolly for days keeping the door open as they edge along the queue to get into the hospital and be treated.

Oh and your taxpayer funded private health insurance expired with your seat so be careful driving home.

He’s an opportunistic sack of shit with no principles and I’m delighted to see it.

His fall from grace was wild. When he was first with the SocDems, he was getting them a lot of publicity and did very well in debates. It’s like it’s only when he joined FF that people saw what a disaster he was.
