Not to sound too callous, but what do they realistically expect to gain from this strike?

The company is fucked – people aren’t buying Volkswagens in same numbers anymore, and they don’t need/can’t afford to employ hundreds of thousands of Europeans anymore.

Almost as if the German car industry is following a template of the British one in the 70s. Better and cheaper cars coming from abroad, falling sales and industrial unrest. Didn’t end well for the UK.

Didn’t VW pay out record dividends last year or something?

And again our current minister for economy, Habeck, was correct when he predicted exactly this in 2019 (!) and was laughed out of the room for it.

Tbh, VW is getting way too pricy for what they offer. They are supose to be the middleground bettween an Opel and a BMW in terms of build quality and expectations of quality but price wise, it makes 0 sense for me to buy a new VW.

Maybe Im an idiot (most likely) but why would I buy a car from 2020’s when they last and withstand half the use and abuse…

“I am going to fire you,”

“Not before I stage a strike.”

    7. what a strange world

back in 2015 our newspapers wrote about how good were the VW salary and prizes awards for production

    8. Who doesn’t like seeing people on high horses needing to climb down? I sure do!
