How is this good news for Ukraine? He could be relocating this to the Black Sea along and most likely will be sending all of his Syrian troops to Ukraine for a large scale offensive. Even if he doesn’t relocate this to the Black Sea, he will use every other resource he was using in Syria on Ukraine instead.
This scares me, if anything.
It would be fucking hilarious if Putler were to lose both Tartus and Crimea. He would then have no warm water ports at all except Kaliningrad which is now sitting on a NATO lake.
The ships cannot go into Black Sea so likely head to Baltic
I think that the impact is strategic and geopolitical more than just troops and hardware
