      Russia cannot be trusted, end of !

      Any agreeement anybody makes with them is not worth the paper it’s written on because as soon as you turn your back, they will stab you in it !

      The only thing they respond to is a show of force, they’ve learned nothing since the collapse of the USSR and apparently it’s everybody else’s fault why they behave like they do !

      There a joke of a country .

      Unwise move. UA in no position to demand anything. I get a feeling both UA and RU compete in making bad claims.

      NATO clearly stated it will not take in UA. UA failed to become semi-reliant on own economy or military industries. The moment help is cut off UA will have nothing to support it. Of course RU will use its diplomats and connections to make that happen.

      As they should. They were already treaty protected for giving up nukes. Unless is big boy membership, would be worthless.

      Nothing except NATO membership can work.

      Let’s say it’s replaced by a bilateral defensive alliance with France/UK/Germany, who is to guarantee it won’t be dropped as soon as  (inevitably) the right wing populists win? Will Nigel Farage turn up the British army to defend Ukraine in case of a new aggression?

      Ukraine needs to be part of a permanent security structure, not a shifty alliance

      Either get accepted into NATO or start making a shitton of nukes. The only two choices.
      The threat of severe violence is the only thing the ruzzian parasites understand.
