Warning to other tourists: this is probably the worst dessert ive ever eaten. It is incredibly dry and sweet. I didn’t want to believe other reviews before I went but pls trust me in this one
The Hotel Sacher Sachertorte isn’t that good. Try Demel.

the recipe hasn’t been changed for 100+ years, back then you had to be a lot more economical with the ingredients 🥲 that’s why it doesn’t taste as good to most of us now.
