Pretty sure it will be the same as every other package – at the end it will be more like a billion and the rest will be too late.
With the recent moves in the ruble and russia’s economy, I wonder if there would be any takers to an offer to unfreeze the rest of the $300b and removal of banking and SWIFT sanctions so they can stabilize things, if they withdraw in the next 30 days.

Great news. I hope that those Russian assets will not only be “frozen”, but they will become “confiscated” in the future 🙂
i thought the plan was to give the profits derived to ukraine because handing out the principal was legally problematic ?
