      >Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) on Thursday afternoon updated its travel warnings for Armenia, the Maldives, and Brazil.

      >For Armenia, the warning level was raised from Level 1 (no warning) to Level 2 (potential threat), in light of the increased threat to Jews and Israelis in Armenia from terror sources.

      >The NSC stressed that it is not calling on citizens to leave the country or avoid traveling there, but rather to take increased precautionary measures.

no one cares, it’s not like tons of Israeli tourists coming to Armenia

    3. The only factual reports we have (afaik) of jews being targeted in Armenia is when the synagogue got vandalised a couple of times. Even then, the Rabbis themselves said it was most likely done by outsiders and not Armenians. This feels a bit odd to me. I feel like it’s being blown out of proportion.

Almost all countries in the West and in Europe are at Level 2 or higher. us having been at Level 1 was an anomaly. Georgia has been on Level 2 for a long time as well.

I assume there are some threats from Iran side things? Also I never understood who had attacked the synagogue. Our government should have made a clearer statement in support of Jews. The thing is even Iran always emphasises on respecting the Jewish community in Iran and yada yada. Even if there are hostile feelings due to how they treat Armenians in Israel, I think we should clarify that we are not a hateful people.
