I can’t imagine being born rich, having access to any university and ending up so dumb and irrelevant. CG was not the people’s choice. The orthodox priests campaigned against his opponent spreading lies and threatening the uneducated that voting against CG is voting against God’s will. I’ll just say that the United States, Europe, and really everyone else is lucky that Trump didn’t start building his political cult of personality in the 90s.
I mean, he technically did start building his cult back then… but if he had taken this show on the road politically in 1996 and really gave it his all like he did in 2016, the racism and misogyny would have *really* killed, even more so than it did this year, and he’d actually have time and energy left in his life to be the dictator over America (and the world) that he so clearly desires to be.
And yes I know he actually ran like 4 or 5 times. I’m saying it was his 2016 campaign, though, where he successfully tapped into the racist and misogynist vote, and took off to the moon. If he had done that in 1996, he’d have really been a force to be reckoned with – a completely narcissistic piece of shit who is entirely full of himself and whom the richest country in the world has given him leadership over.
That’s what he is now, but holy fuck is he old and crusty.
As an American, it’s honestly shameful. It’s so embarrassing and beyond the pale that I’m emigrating the hell out of here. I have dual citizenship, though I was born and raised in America.
I’m offended at both the misogyny and the racism, but even more so, I’m offended at the sheer incompetence and the lazy maliciousness.
It is genuinely insulting as an American that Trump is my president. It’s a grave insult to everyone’s intelligence. It pisses me off that someone so patently incompetent and malicious is in charge. Even if I include the Trump supporters in my life, I don’t know anyone who would do a worse job as president. Yes, you heard me right, I would trust most of his supporters to lead us over him. They’re rubes, but I’d rather be led by an incompetent rube than an incompetent narcissistic conman.
As it stands he’s probably going to last another 10-20 years, but I don’t know how much steam he has in him. I won’t put anything past him, or the people around him, though. I fully expect that they are all working behind the scenes to get rid of presidential term limits, that it’s likely their number 1 priority. But hey maybe I’m just crazy.
