Merab e Arman, dopo aver vinto a UFC 311 🇬🇪🇦🇲

It’s pretty unlikely that Merab beats Umar, but if he does, then he is bantamweight goat in my eyes, this will be his toughest fight yet

Little bit cringe with his tantrum thrown at the press conference and the next level ducking that this guy is doing, literally doing backflips to duck Umar but the UFC has forced his hand now.

Unlike Jones, Merab doesn’t have the hold over the UFC like Jones does, and honestly it’s pretty clear that Dana fucking hates Merab as a champion, probably jumping at any oppurtunity to get rid of him, so they probably said something like he isn’t allowed to fight till he accepts the Umar fight.

Which is fair, the bullshit arguments he was pulling and the back bending ducking was getting annoying after I had been rooting for him to take the belt from Sean.

Meanwhile for Arman and Islam, as Islam being one of my favourite fighters I’m very nervous. I also like Arman, just not as much as I like Islam. I have a very bad feeling that Arman is going to get the job done, and it makes sense too. Similar to Merab, if Islam wins, then I think this will propell Islam to top 5 all time for sure, and even though I believe he has already surpassed Khabib, I think if he beats Arman this will cement if for everyone and it becomes undeniable, that HE becomes the new lightweight benchmark.

Even though the fight hasn’t happened yet, I have a feeling it will be his toughest fight yet. Even against Volk and Charles I did not feel this nervous.

We will see on, hopefully a great card, Janurary 18th.
