La mia fidanzata ha iniziato a lavorare presso una grande azienda giapponese come contabile nella filiale di Praga e abbiamo notato un articolo riguardante gli stipendi. L’articolo afferma che deve fare gli straordinari senza retribuzione. Come è legale?

is it:
“per calendar year”
or
“per a calendar year”
As far as I know it is legal for management positions and if it is in your contract.
So it is only up to him if he signs it. Nobody is teisting his arm to do so.
No it’s not normal. Never work for free. Tell them to suck it.
Legal: [https://www.mesec.cz/clanky/kdy-vam-zamestnavatel-nemusi-priplacet-za-prescasy/](https://www.mesec.cz/clanky/kdy-vam-zamestnavatel-nemusi-priplacet-za-prescasy/)
In any case, white collar work everywhere in the world means: you work until it is done
it’s legal because of labour code. § 114, third part
if the salary is agreed like that in contract and not by “mzdovy vymer” or similar then this is legal
AFAIK in this case yes. The rule is that basically that if you are not paid by the hour then the salary can already account for overtime up to 150 hours.
Yes; this is legal and fairly common. 150 hrs annually is, I believe, the legal maximum they can include.
Yeah, that is legal, it is in the contract. I had the exact same thing in my contract at the last place I worked. I had to drive pretty far some days, so even if I didnt make it home in 8 hours theyd still pay me the same.
Its not really unpaid. They specificaly stated salary includes OT. Its sometimes used for office workers (positions where its hard to count your hours). Not saying its not bullshit, but its legal.
But you can probably take the extra work hours as compensatory leave.
First time in corporate ?
Legal but the salary is a bit low for shit like that…
Should she never stay overtime for that salary, just walk the door and try what happens if they push her
Oh yeah I have the same shit in my contract as well. Overtime is highly theoretical at my position and I’d leave asap if they’d ever actually try to play that card.
It’s legal and quite common. Also 150 hours per years is only about 14 hours per month, that’s not crazy. On the other hand, if the overtimes are frequent, the salary should go up in a reasonable time, 60k is not “work your ass off” money.
