Where is the backlash though? Hoped to see some Turkish commenters at least call him names or some official reminding him that russia begged Turkey to evacuate their bases in Syria :S
Wanted to read more about the backlash, but the article just says, “There was a backlash” and then explains who Dugin is.

Isn’t that the guy whose daughter blew up in a car because of (supposedly) Ukrainian partisans?
If true, Russia is even more effed with loosing Turkey as a “temporal friend”. I certainly welcome it. The sooner Russia will fall and Turkey orients more towards west and turkic / arab world.

Totally agree with him, As a Turk myself.
Turkiye has had issues with to many rerfugees. This would be an oppurtunity for Erdogan, and look like a hero. Not knowing israel backing up terrorists.
Now its time for israel to work with terrorist (PKK) and Kurds who want to devide Turkiye. Israel has had eyes for that region way to long – Kurds have eyes on those regions aswell.
You can see this “map” on israeli soldiers “greater israel” on there uniforms.
Now the whole wild wild west = israel and kurds / no one backing up Turkiye.
