      What’s there to block? As if the Serbian government and Vucic are actually trying to have Serbia progress on the accession road. Name one step they took on this road?

      Neither does Vucic want Serbia in the EU, nor does the EU want Serbia within itself. The only objective of EU is to block and eradicate other foreign influence (Russia and China) in Serbia, but otherwise it’s all a farce.

      To put pressure ๐Ÿคฃ Bro doesnt know Vuฤiฤ‡ has wholeheartedly worked on distancing Serbia from EU for more than a decade now.

      Not only he won’t put any pressure, but on the opposite he will support Vuฤiฤ’s ambitions to distance Serbia from EU even further.

      Personally I dont care if we ever are gonna join, I just wish us to make progress in eliminating corruption and organized crime.

      EU is willing to turn a blind eye to our supreme leader as long as he plays ball and with him in power nothing will ever change. We are left to fend for ourselves and fair enough its our struggle but dont expect much, autocrats arent easy to remove.

      Maybe you know sanction Vuฤiฤ‡ and his goons(not country) it would actually make things a lot of better and easier to Serbs.

      This blocking actually feeds to his local anti-EU propaganda. I mean it is not like Serbia will join EU tommorow if new cluster is opened.

      Also Vuฤiฤ‡ is EU puppet there to ensure EU’s big guys interests like Kosovo independence and Lithium mine, and not to make Serbia closer to EU. Ask yourself why did only Croatian and few other MEPs raised opposition to Lithium mine in Serbia.

      I donโ€™t know what their motives are, but at this point Serbia coming into the EU would just be adding another Orban to the equation. One is bad enough.

      Iโ€™m an American, so my opinion should really be disregarded, but it seems really important at this point that the EU become more internally unified and connected rather than expanding the bloc. Those donโ€™t have to be mutually exclusive, but, just given the state of the world and what EU leaders are seeing, it seems important to have members who are really fully on board and willing to make closer ties for economic and political success.

      6 months i worked on the border with Kosovo & Serbia. Must say that the Serbian borderpolice where nice towards us, during that period. But i noticed alot of human trafficing, specialy young girls. The borderguards didnโ€™t do anything about it, and we couldnโ€™t do anything either, because we didnโ€™t had any mandate.

      I would rather see us abandon efforts to join EU if that means Vuฤiฤ‡ will be deposed. The worst scenario is to join EU with Vuฤiฤ‡ in charge, then we’ll never get rid of him.
