Yeah, one look at a price tag in the Moncler shop there is enough to make you realise there’s a whole other world out there for a lucky few.

Went in once before just for a browse. Was wearing my motorbike gear and the looks I got you’d swear I had just sacrificed an animal in front of everyone. Full of pretentious bellends that place.

    3. Wish I had enough money to pay someone to hold my plate in mid-air so I didn’t have to eat from a table like some commoner.

Properly rich people don’t shop in Kildare Village or the like. It’s 90% crap that brands took a punt on, couldn’t sell & now are offloading at big discounts because even though the brand is strong, the item looks like crap. There are definitely a few gems amongst the dross though, in most shops, but you need to have loads of patience and a bit of luck. Rich people don’t have time for that shit.

Every time I’ve seen this I’ve felt immense relief at being poor tbh. Hobnobbing through an entire village of fancy handbags and jewellery while everyone who’s trying to keep up is doing the same and then we all fight for space to have an 8 Euro cappucino sounds absolutely exhausting.

I’d take all the village kids to Smith’s Toys before this.

    8. Yeah, as I get older the shiny, warm, glowing, ads with perfect families having massive Christmas spreads makes me feel more and more uncomfortable every passing year…

The lack of motivation to achieve the highest level of income to obtain the better things in life is what stagnated the soviet union and doomed socialism. siIsh

    10. Ah some good prices to be found there.

More than once have gone in and got a x3 pack of Calvin Klein jocks for 12-18 euro. And normal ones too, not the seasons failed luminous pink and green range that didn’t sell.
