    1. Say what you want about the man but he had a great Southpark episode

    2. Hoera for Denmark, the man does nothing wrong. He only defends the creatures who aren’t able to defend themselves against us.

      > Denmark has rejected a Japanese request to extradite anti-whaling activist Paul Watson over criminal charges dating back more than a decade, a Danish lawyer representing Watson said on Tuesday.

      > US-Canadian Watson, 74, founder of the Sea Shepherd conservationist group and of the Captain Paul Watson Foundation, has now been released from detention in the Greenland capital Nuuk, Greenland police said.

They should extradite him when Japan stops commercial whaling and comply with international laws.

How about Japan extradites their whaler morons straight to hell and instead put energy into getting some fucking empathy?

Very good, even better when you know a little bit about how justice works in japan. (From a western pov it is a parody of justice especially for foreigners really shocking for such a country)

Japan also never extradite his criminal (except maybe to the USA). There are plenty of very dark stories with people that fleed to japan to avoid justice.

    7. Considering the suspiciously high conviction rate and they still have the death penalty I would never extradite anyone there.

I wonder if aliens will treat humanity the way Denmark treated the whales and the dolphins. Fuck you Denmark, fuck you Feroe, immediately release Paul Watson.

That’s pretty good, but keeping him locked up for six months sucks. That’s basically a punishment in itself, no access to internet, theoretical loss of earnings (he doesn’t have a conventional job I guess)

There needs to be far more protection at the pre-trial (or in this case pre-extradition) stage.

Typical boomer activist with an ego the size of the Pacific Ocean. I hope Denmark extradites him and that he dies in a Japanese prison.

European thinks it’s OK to acid attack Japanese shipworker, this crime is OK to ignore because attack to inferior Asian does count! But it’s not OK for Japanese to do whaling because whales are better than inferior Asian.
And it’s OK for Norway to do whaling because they are European. Here is another double standard of Europe.
