After discussions about forming an eu army and the recent Ankara visit of Von Der Leyen I started to think about if the eu is looking for closer relations with Turkey by decreasing the extend of partnership with the USA

    2. Ahh Diplomacy.
I guess the thing that wasnt said is, if the intervention in Syria is a legitimate concern or not

    3. hahah , legitimate security concerns , should they not at least change the rhetoric somewhat ?

6 billion euros already paid for 12 million refugees and 1 billion more, so they can send 1 million refugees back to Türkiye! This is the reason EU loves dictated state so they can pay money and can do whatever they want! EU loves dictator Erdoğan!… How he won every election? Because of EU and US support him! …. What a democratic EU!

The EU should prioritize closer relations with Turkey over the US. Americans only care about the interests of Israel, which is a hostile anti-EU country.

      Which concern ?

The ones about Greece and Cyprus as legit as the one in Russia regarding Ukraine ? Go fuck yourself or the one at the Eastern border, which indeed may become ours.

Geopolitc is a bitch and the guy who threaten EU from invasion has also to be our ally 🙁

“Legitimate security concerns” is going to be the next decade’s excuse for countries just invading and killing who they feel Ike.

Wasn’t Erdogan going to make political party in Germany? Glad we prioritize the security concerns of non EU nations

Curious if Erdogan deserves to be spoken to after his statement about WW1 borders and Syria 🥲

The lady that went on a personal vendetta against wolves so now its open season for hunters to hunt them hmm

    15. “Legitimate security concerns”, wasn’t that why Putin invaded a neighbouring country? Is Erdogan planning something similar?

I don’t give a crap about vague “security concerns” as justification for any sort of violence or oppression, and when they do it, it always sounds like this somehow.

When a country want to attack an other it always starts to talk about their own legitimate security concerns.

    17. Why just post a screenshot? I have no idea what this is about. What security concerns? Russia? Syria? Greece?

Don’t they mean “Turkey” if they’re speaking in English?
