Si limita a sottolineare alcune cose cipriote generiche riconoscibili, nessuna abilità artistica, nessuna sovversione delle aspettative, il più delle volte la battuta finale non è diversa dall’impostazione. È una pianta industriale che i ciprioti sono stati condizionati ad accettare o siamo stati davvero così stupidi da renderlo il comico n. 1 basandosi solo sul suo valore di intrattenimento? Sono sinceramente sconcertato da lui, il suo pubblico non è mai stato esposto all’umorismo prima di scoprire di lui? Sono bambini piccoli? Il cipriota medio è un tifoso? Se è così, non mi sento sicuro a vivere in un posto dove la popolazione è effettivamente così stupida.

Everytime i see modern cypriot tv i realise that they write or steal ideas in english (american media not british) and they translate, badly at that, in greek/cypriot greek.
Next time you hear a joke or a punchline or a sentence that doesnt completely makes sense, think what the equivalent translation would be in english. It’s probably from a meme or an american show or a tiktok trend.
Basically the poor mans idea of entertainment tv.
Thats why older shows were more succesful, they at least tried to be faithful to the cypriot’s idea of a joke or comedy style.
I stopped watching this a long time ago. His show is exactly as you described. No original content or imagination.
On the other hand, if you like pure comedy with standup and skits, try Casa de Mikel. By far the funniest show on CY TV.
If you don’t like his humour, there’s nicer ways of expressing it. I don’t understand why you’re so offended.
