Doing good work! I used to make orthotics, similar sorts of skills involved.
Do wear safety glasses though, getting a hot bit of plastic in your eye is no fun. It has happened to me a few times on grinders, since then, I always wear them.

Please avoid using long sleeved clothing when working with rotational tools. Drills, Lathes etc are known to catch onto clothing and hair and causing incredible damage and death. <3
