Article states that Norway also plans to order six instead of the originally ordered four. While the order haven’t been formally placed, parliament have already approved.
And I think Denmark plans to re-introduce submarines into their navy and are looking at the 212CD too. Norway and Germany just have to figure out how to make delivery in a reasonable timeframe. Wouldn’t be surprised if Germany agrees to have theirs slightly delayed.
I wish both the North American and European continents could instantly double our ship-building capacity. The lengthy build times and crunched demand are anxiety-inducing.
