Ho portato il mio cane dal veterinario per fare il vaccino regolare contro la leptospirosi. Alla fine mi hanno cambiato 65 euro in tutto compresa la visita dal veterinario che è durata forse 30 secondi. Il mese scorso l’ho portato a fare il vaccino contro la rabbia ed è stato lo stesso. Mi chiedo se l’esame generale sia predefinito e devo dire loro che non lo voglio. Voglio dire, perché hanno bisogno di controllare il cane quando ero lì meno di un mese fa e ovviamente va tutto bene con il cane e in più fingono semplicemente di controllarlo.
So che devono pagare le bollette, i lavoratori, ecc., Ma comunque non è così.

55 € are nothing. It’s gonna be way worse next time your pet has a real problem.
There is no doctor that would administer a vaccine without doing an examination of health. Most of not all vaccines must be administered when the recipient is in good health.
Look into pet insurances, they can pay off in case of emergencies like a surgery

It’s pretty standard that there is a base charge for the visit, then additional charges for any treatment/service.
Fully legal (though not every vet does it that way).
I mean, someone has to pay for the place and the staff and such. It not feels off to me.
