Good signs so far. He hasn’t backtracked on his views.
It’s all a matter of if trump will follow their advice.
Former sec defense Mad Dog matthis was pro ukraine and anti russia as well and trump never listened to any of his advice and he ended up resigning.
It’ll become clear what Russian values really are to Trump and co. They will find it difficult to be on Russia’s side and stay silent when they have to appear in control and on the right side of history.
