I don’t know if this is allowed but we are getting unprecedented traffic to r/greenland so I thought I’d post here. Greenland is a great place that’s absolutely stunning. I don’t get into politics but I do talk about traveling to Greenland via Denmark or Iceland on r/greenlandtravel
I took all these images over the years visiting Greenland solo. These are old from pre-pandemic era and I used to over-process the images because I didn’t know what I was doing. They looked amateurish but it still is what you’d see with the naked eye there because Greenland is just so damn gorgeous everywhere you go.
All of these images except for a couple were taken in Ilulissat, the tourist capital for good reason. Home to the Ilulissat Icefjord, which produces the largest icebergs in the northern hemisphere. Greenland is opening up new routes from Europe and the US starting in June 2025. Let’s see how it goes but exciting times nonetheless, political situation notwithstanding.

I can only hope Greenland never becomes a part of the US, never!
the US threatening allies with military actions/invasions/armed attacks is such a low point
