Grazie mille!

My impression is that Finnish insurance companies won’t sell insurances for people who don’t residence in Finland. So visitors home country or some global insurance companies might be easier options.
Traveller insurance should be enough, at least Finnish insurance companies offer traveller insurance for trips up to 90 days.
Get travel insurance from your country.
Your only option really is travel insurance, but that usually only covers emergencies/accidents and still generally requires you to pay full bill and then they reimburse. Private insurance usually won’t accept preexisting conditions and is only for citizens/residents anyway. Maybe can find an insurance from their country that works „worldwide“ but those might cost a bit.
Regardless, you can still go to doctor/hospital (they won’t turn you away in an emergency), but will have to pay full price if you don’t have travelers insurance. That’s what I had to do before I became a resident. I came on a tourist visa a few times before applying for residency. Had travel insurance to cover emergencies.
Travel insurances are bought from your country of residence, not from the country you are visiting.
Some credit card companies offer full travel insurance if you pay the trip with their card. You might want to check your local ToS with credit card suppliers.
Read the small text really carefully. Some offer travel insurance that only includes your luggage and some offer the full package.
If you already have a credit card, this might be your cheapest way to insure your trip.
You need to get the insurance from the country of your residence. Finnish companies are risk aversive and do not sell insurance to foreigners they have no data about.
