Russian military tactics are brutal, Putin doesn’t care how many of his military troops are killed, as long as he gets results.
Surely Russians are suffering more death and cuts. They are fighting a war with no real objective or meaning other than to save Putin’s ass. Russian culmination and overextension is already happening while Ukraine preserves their resources.
Ukraine is doing the right thing with the forces it has. Stand and take out as much meat and hardware as possible before pulling back.
New tanks arriving from Germany and French aircraft next year. A thousand cuts run both ways.

I thought russia strategy was to make ukaine feel bad for all the Russians they had to kill like how Germans that shot jews in mass slaughters couldn’t handle the stress.
The “bleed your opponent white” strat, always seem to leave the agressor just as bloodless. Just ask WW1 Germany how bleeding the French worked out.
