Because there are less assassination attempts from India on political topics in Europe than Canada

So, why in the decadent, declining West? Why not in the other amazing, rising BRICS?

That’s good for Europe, right? Educated people studying in Europe, contributing to research, spending money, and many staying providing high skilled workforce.

      > Amid diplomatic unrest and sudden immigration policy changes, higher education in Canada is increasingly becoming a turbulent affair for Indian students.

Canada is also working hard to reduce immigration fraud. Perhaps that’s what makes it “turbulent”?

There are a lot in Bulgaria. None stay here though thankfully and they don’t pull the same shenanigans like overstaying their visas like they do in Canada. The problem is all these schools see is dollar signs and it only gets worse from there.

Comments are very weird. Sure, things have been less than ideal in Canada, but Indian migrants are very successful and well-integrated in both the USA and UK.

Europe = 5 years and you become a citizen ( in most countries). US takes much more.
I have an Indian colleague who openly says he came here for the citizenship.

Why don’t they immigrate to their closest allies Russia and Israel?

In Europe and Canada it’s not only illegal migration that presents a threat but also legal migration.

At some point you’ve got to realize that you can’t just keep bringing people in. India has over 1 billion people living in a shithole with every desire and motivation to want to leave for better countries. The issue is primarily that their are over 1 billion of them.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to allow such a level of mass migration to happen, whether it be legal or illegal.

Even right now in many places you have strains to job markets, housing markets and what not because of the continuously flow of people coming in illegal or legally.

If it were me I would heavily restrict legal migration into the continent with exceptions to other European based countries outside of Europe, most of the world sucks and they have plenty of motivation to come here but it’s not our responsibility to house the world. Bring too many and the problems that they have back at home will start cropping up here in time.

We need to move towards a system where people can’t just migrate to wherever they want. If you’re born on a certain continent you should stay on that continent. That’s my belief anyways with exception to the wider Anglo-sphere considering they’re also European.

As the old saying goes, bring in the third world, become the third world lol.
