I’ve seen similar pods in other places like West Cork. I think it’s great that people who want to enjoy a sea swim can relax in the heat afterwards if they want and not be freezing their tits off until they get home

Look, I don’t go out much any more. It’s gotten way too expensive and I can’t afford it. Trying to organize something social is difficult because of this. My friends have varied interests.

One thing we all do is like a sauna. Gives us a chance every few weeks to catch up without dressing up or heading out out. Some of us do like a swim but not all. 

I think these are a great addition to any popular beach / spot. 

To be fair I am biased, I actually saved my arse off the last year and purchased a home one. IKEA sorta thing. It’s no where near as good but I still love it. 

To me these outside saunas are a lovely addition for ireland. There is not much to bring most people out in miserable weather. This is one thing that does.
