I hope so. I really don’t understand why doesn’t he starts the process to leave the EU and give his voters what they want. They can also hold a referendum and annex themselves to Russia.

No. Leaving the EU is unpopular with Hungarians, would destroy the economy and ruin Hungary’s position as a useful asset for Russia. Chinese investment would dry up too. Orban’s happy stoking anti-EU sentiment, but who would be the enemy if Hungary actually left?
