      This is nice but, are they actually going to detain and send back those that illegally cross the borders ? Or just stand there and be paid for doing nothing … Sorry, for acting as a dissuasion force .

      These positions are almost immediately filled. The EU has great benefits, but also a strict selection procedure.

      I can see the same happening with a European Army. The best of the best will flock to it.

      I only see Frontex uniforms in the picture, aka violent thugs who commit crimes with impunity. Definitely not what any kind of European Corp should be.

      Lovely, i am all for immigration not everyone is born in a functioning society. But do it in a sustainable, safe and legal way.

      All the pushback crybabies can go to said countries and help those people get in legally

      Nice, hope they get 30k staff ASAP.

      Would be great to have an inter EU project to detain the illegal overstayers who abuse Schengen.
