For context, the Supplemental in April allocated $7.8 billion in direct budget support to the government of Ukraine. This funding was to be provided through the World Bank’s Public Expenditures for Administrative Capacity Endurance (PEACE) multidonor trust fund, with an initial obligation of $3.9 billion on July 12, 2024. With today’s announcement the remaining funds have now also been disbursed. These funds are basically for maintaining Ukrainian government services and paying salaries.
