I bloody hope so. We can still make it even stronger

Correct. And Russia is in its weakest.

I hope that’s true.

With the cheeto around the corner, I hope that this position of relative strength among the Ukrainians lasts *indefinitely*.
It’s a bit like the cliché about things being OK until they’re not.
I don’t need to detail how things can quickly go sideways for the ZSU if isolationism indeed goes up to 11 in the USA later this year.
Meanwhile, the Russians must not and cannot ever be in a prolonged position of strength over *anyone* given how readily and consistently they have exploited the trust and weakness of us **non**-Russians to taint the world with the regressive toxicity and dystopian misery of Russkiy Mir.

Ukraine is already scaling up in house drone/missile systems which nobody would have imagined 2 years ago. The poorest country in Europe is the breeding ground of the next generation warfare technology, has a few areas captured in Russia, expanding international influence in the Middle East and Africa and has a way brighter EU future. Feels like time got compressed for Ukrainian due to the current situation and they have turned crisis into opportunity of generations.

Will the war continue in the same way during the winter? I’m afraid if it slows too much there will be time for Russia to rebuild and start everything over
